As a kid, I always had a fascination with complex stuff. I never played with the latest Hot Wheels, Dragon-Ball-Whatever or spent time dealing Pokerman cards. Instead, I grew up behind the computer monitor. Writing Windows Batch scripts in my early tween-age years (9-11 years old) I quickly learned the basics of application development, and started developing useless apps that couldn't really do much.
My passions turned into a hobby day-by-day, and I progressed into learning the Python language. Without much intention of serious work, I only wrote applications that did things for me. But as time elapsed, my understanding of Computer Science evolved. The fact that I could control my computer to do crazy things sparked interests within me. Being untied to the Windows environment, I took to the Linux kernel to expand the possibilities.
Today, I write my applications in Rust after re-learning everything I (thought I) knew about computers. Whenever I'm bored of the difficulties of life, my text editor explores new avenues with me. I don't really know what I'll be writing tomorrow, but I'm sure to have fun doing it.
